Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsible for the stipulation and coordination of the clinical pharmacy activities. This is to include, but is not limited to, the integration of pharmacy clinical and dispensing services within the hospital, the oversight of pharmacy clinical operations, the provision of education and safety to the pharmacy, hospital, and medical staff, and the ongoing documentation of these activities. Leads and coaches the development and growth of a safety culture in the department. The coordinator may serve on Medical Staff, hospital, or departmental committees. In addition, the coordinator may perform normal dispensing services and may serve as on-call supervisor. Position Qualifications Minimum Education: B.S. Pharmacy, M.S., PharmD. and or completion of Specialty Residency preferred. Minimum Experience: Two years as hospital staff pharmacist, prefer previous experience in clinical setting. Required Certification: IV Admixture Certification. Required Licensure: Current License by Texas State Board of Pharmacy. Skills: Typing, computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
